Carlos Coello Canales challenges for the WMC world title vs Army Sasiprapa

Spain’s own Carlos Coello Canales, known in Thailand as Carlos 7 Muay Thai Gym, already WKN Muay Thai World Champion (126 lbs), on June 16th will attempt to bring home his second world title. This time he will fight for WMC federation (World Muay Thai Council), which is recognized by the Thai Royal House, in the 130 lbs weight class.

“The Real Champion” is the name of the event, organized by Mr. Diego Vazquez of Mamba Fight Club (Spain), will take place on Saturday, June 16 at Pabellón Universitario de Deportes in the city of Ponferrada, Spain. Carlos will be the first Spanish fighter to compete for a WMC World Title.

The fight will be a re-match, in fact, his opponent Army Sasiprapa is a veteran of over 200 fights and he is an active member of the Thai Army national team. He already defeated Carlos back in August 2016 (video of the fight which was aired live on TV channel NOW26). The previous fight was a 3 round fight, but this time as it is a world title fight it will unfold in a classic 5 round Muay Thai fight.

“It’s a great opportunity and I don’t want to let it slip, I will give 100%” Carlos Coello Canales.
